Greyhounds that are available for adoption arrive on a regular basis from various tracks and farms around the country. Most Greyhounds are between the ages of 1 1/2 years and 5 years of age. As soon as the dogs are vetted, they are available for adoption into their new forever homes. Click on the dogs below for additional information and photos.

Meet Dexter, a sweet male greyhound who loves sunny days by the pool and relaxing indoors. He's great with kids aged 5 and up, enjoys plenty of pats and cuddles, and appreciates his own space when needed. Dexter is learning to be an indoor dog and loves to laze around, though he's still a curious explorer at heart. He's friendly with other greyhounds and is ready to find his forever home where he can share love and lazy afternoons! $700 ($650 tax deductible)

Rebel is a very friendly and outgoing dog with a lot of confidence. He's great in new environments and has been described and "born to be a pet." He is a good car ride buddy and loves to snuggle on the couch. Rebel is fantastic with people, but should be an only dog. Rebel is in a foster home in the Post Falls area. $700 ($650 tax deductible)

- Hi, my name is Sidney! If you are looking for a special gal to explore with, well look no further. I am quite curious (some might say nosey) about everything. I am hanging out with my foster family while I recover from my spay. I am living with 2 other Greys, a Brittany and a small sassy dog. I do well with other dogs, but I am a "no go" with cats. Supervising me with smaller dogs is a good idea until I learn they are friends, not food. I feel I would do best living in a home with at least one other confident dog to help me learn.
I have the looks, but I want you to know I also have the brains, too! I learn very quickly and am able to set my own boundaries. I will do just about anything for food or a treat, so training me will be a breeze. I was not house trained before coming to my foster family, but I knew I needed to go outside to potty. I have learned how to go on walks with a harness, but sometimes I get worried about new noises or scents and need some encouragement. I am also crate trained. Let's meet soon!Adoption fee is $500.

- Pluto has only interacted with kids aged 8-13 years old. He is very friendly, so may be fine with younger children, after a nice meet and greet.
- Pluto regularly comes inside in his current home.
- He has also been trained to sleep overnight in his crate

Eddie is a friendly, affectionate boy who loves people and playing with kids 3-4+. He loves a game of chasies or going inside to see what's happening and being part of family life. If you hold out your hand towards his leg he will 'shake hands' – what a clever boy!
He is sociable with other greys, people, and loves a walk. He is great on lead and would happily go on long walks or runs. He would suit a family or anyone who likes to go on walks/runs and is quite active. He would be best with a medium-large yard for a run around in the morning, and he is happy to rest quietly during the day until you come home for walks if working. He would be a wonderful family companion.

If you're looking for a cheerful companion who loves both playtime and cozy moments, Rex is ready to bring joy to your home!

Harry is a big, gentle giant that wants to be welcomed into your life, with lots of love to share. Harry requires someone that is home more often than not, either working from home or a retiree, as he loves his human company. Being a big boy he would love a big yard to be able to run around and play in!
Though Harry would work best as an only dog, he has been shown to be social towards other dogs and may enjoy having a friend if they get along in a meet and greet. Being a bigger boy with bounds of energy, he may not be suitable to younger children unless they have large dog experience.
Harry has been shown to enjoy his food and bed by himself so will require someone that is willing to give him space when he is snoozing or munching away at meal times. He still needs to be tested to see if he can share a home with cats or small dogs.

Focus is sweet and very curious. She loves toys, treats, and a good walk with lots of sniffs. She is respectful with other greyhounds and friendly with humans. She's always excited for a quick cuddle break before she's off exploring the next thing. She's pretty active and would do well with frequent walks and indoor activities - she picked up on food puzzles very quickly! $700 ($650 tax deductible)
